The established construction company, R W Armstrong, has expanded with the formation of a new city division, R W Armstrong London.  The new division allows the company to bring together the wealth of experience gained across the South East over the past 50 years on the refurbishment and new build of high end residential properties, to service the growing demand from clients based in London.

The division’s General Manager is Rob Carver, who has been with R W Armstrong in Hampshire since 2008.  His appointment to the role will ensure the same standards of quality and craftsmanship are replicated for its London clients, including recent contracts won in Hampstead and Holland Park. The latter comprises of a significant refurbishment to a five-storey townhouse including the fit out of a new basement kitchen and dining area, as well as a bespoke joinery package produced by the company`s joinery workshop.

R W Armstrong’s Chairman Nigel Armstrong said: “Whilst we have worked in London for many years, we saw an opportunity to capitalise on R W Armstrong’s established reputation to specifically target the high end residential market in areas such as Notting Hill, Belgravia, Kensington, Chelsea, etc, where a strong residential refurbishment market exists.

“As part of R W Armstrong, the London division has the financial stability, infrastructure and management systems in place to give clients the surety of delivery and quality of workmanship.”

General Manager (London) Rob Carver said: “Although a new division, the people at the heart of the business have been in the industry for many years.  We will be using the enormous breadth of knowledge the company has gained to ensure the same high standards and traditional quality craftsmanship, along with our uncompromising attention to detail is replicated here in London.”

R W Armstrong’s vast experience covers renovations, refurbishments and extensions to country houses and estates, period townhouses, as well having extensive knowledge of working on listed Properties.  In addition, R W Armstrong has built many bespoke new homes both classical and contemporary in design with some of the country’s most prestigious architects.  In 2011, the company also established Daedalus Conservation, which works exclusively in conservation and heritage.
